Exchange Bank Announces Tripp Conner as Senior Vice President and Market President for Upcoming Braselton Branch

Exchange Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Tripp Conner as Senior Vice President and Market President for the new Braselton branch, scheduled to open in Spring 2026.
With more than 28 years of banking experience, Tripp brings a strong background in commercial lending, market development, and relationship-focused leadership across Northeast Georgia. Prior to joining Exchange Bank, Tripp served as Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Pinnacle Bank’s West Market, where he successfully guided lending operations across multiple counties. His career also includes leadership roles at Regions Bank, Gwinnett Community Bank, and PlantersFirst.
“Tripp’s deep roots in community banking and proven commitment to helping people succeed align perfectly with Exchange Bank’s mission of putting people first,” said John C. Childs, Jr., President and CEO. “His leadership will be invaluable as we expand into Braselton and build strong relationships throughout the community.”
Tripp is a graduate of Valdosta State University, where he earned degrees in Accounting, Economics, and Finance. He has been an active community volunteer throughout his career, serving in leadership roles with several Chambers of Commerce and civic organizations.
Tripp and his wife, Kimberly, have been married for 30 years and have two children, Max and Caroline. They are proud grandparents to Isla Hanson and look forward to welcoming a new grandchild in March 2026.
“I am honored to join a community-focused organization like Exchange Bank,” said Tripp. “The values and culture here truly reflect what banking should be—personal, local, and relationship-driven. I look forward to helping establish Exchange Bank right here in my hometown.”
