Exchange Bank Promotes Jeremy Cook to Assistant Vice President

Milledgeville, GA – November 7, 2025 – The Exchange Bank Board of Directors and John C. Childs, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer, are pleased to announce the promotion of Jeremy Cook to Assistant Vice President – Security Officer, Information Technology Specialist, and Facilities/Maintenance Manager.
Cook began his career at Exchange Bank in 2003 in the Data Processing Department and was quickly promoted in 2004 to an assistant role in the Information Technology area. In 2008, he was promoted to IT Manager, and in 2018, advanced to IT Specialist. In 2021, Cook was promoted to an Officer and took on the additional responsibility of Deposit Compliance, where he excelled in managing and coordinating this vital function of the bank’s operations.

A native of Baldwin County and graduate of Baldwin High School, Cook is deeply rooted in the local community. He and his wife, Heather Cook, have two children, Nash (8) and Eli (5). Outside of work, Cook is active with the Piedmont Amateur Radio Club and embodies Exchange Bank’s culture of giving back through his volunteerism with Keep Milledgeville-Baldwin Beautiful. He has adopted the Allenwood neighborhood, where he can often be found keeping the area clean and free of litter.
