Exchange Bank Promotes Heather Cook to Assistant Vice President
Exchange Bank, a community bank in Middle Georgia, is proud to announce the promotion of Heather Cook to Assistant Vice President – Business Development. This promotion reflects Heather’s nearly two decades of dedication to Exchange Bank and her commitment to serving customers and communities across Milledgeville, Gray, Lake Oconee, and Lake Sinclair.
A Career Built on Service and Growth
Heather began her Exchange Bank career in 2006 as a part-time employee in Data Processing before advancing to full-time roles as Teller, Vault Custodian, and Administrative Assistant in both Marketing and Mortgage Origination. Over the years, she has taken on leadership roles including Loan Processor, Assistant Mortgage Operations Supervisor, and Loan Operations Manager.
In 2020, Heather was named Business Development Manager, and in 2022, she was promoted to Bank Officer. Her promotion to Assistant Vice President marks the continuation of her leadership journey within one of Georgia’s longest-standing community banks.
Leadership in the Community
A graduate of Leadership Baldwin (2024), Heather is deeply engaged in community service. She currently serves on the Baldwin County Career Academy Board and the Meals on Wheels of Baldwin County Board, demonstrating her strong commitment to education, senior care, and civic engagement.
