Exchange Bank Supports Communities in Schools with $1,500 Donation
Helping Remove Barriers to Learning
CIS plays a vital role in our public school system by identifying barriers that prevent students from learning—whether it’s hunger, lack of school supplies, emotional struggles, or family challenges—and connecting them to the resources they need. From tutoring and mentoring to basic needs and crisis support, they’re making a measurable difference.
In the 2023-2024 school year alone, CIS served over 3,600 Baldwin County students. Their impact was powerful:
-
78% of students showed improved academic performance
-
100% of students remained in school
Those numbers speak volumes about the effectiveness of the CIS model and the importance of having support systems in place for students who need it most.
