Exchange Bank Promotes Jessica Elliott to Vice President

Milledgeville, GA – June 26, 2025 – Exchange Bank’s Board of Directors and President & CEO John C. Childs, Jr., are pleased to announce the promotion of Jessica Elliott to Vice President of Accounting Operations. Over the past 20 years, Elliott has demonstrated exceptional growth and adaptability, advancing through numerous positions that showcase her versatility and commitment to excellence.
Elliott’s career with Exchange Bank began in 2005 as a Teller following her graduation from Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Her early tenure saw her quickly advance through roles including Vault Custodian, Customer Service, and Loan Administration.
Her dedication and aptitude for leadership were further recognized in January 2014 when she entered the bank’s Management Trainee Program. She earned promotions to Assistant Operations Officer/Training Coordinator and later to BSA, Security, and Deposit Compliance Officer. In 2019, Elliott was promoted again to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager.

In addition to her impressive career and professional experience, Jessica and her husband, Rusty, are proud parents to two children, Lucy (17) and Luke (15). Their family is actively involved in supporting John Milledge Academy through various initiatives, including volunteering with the Trojan Athletics Club. Jessica is also the co-founder of the Jeanna Baugh Montgomery Cancer Support Fund, established in memory of her late mother, Jeanna Montgomery. Through this nonprofit, Jessica and the organization provide financial assistance to individuals in the community undergoing cancer treatments. Her dedication to service and community involvement aligns perfectly with Exchange Bank’s culture of giving back.
