We start our adventure! Depart Milledgeville and travel west. Spend your first night at the fabulous Beau Rivage Hotel and Casino. Enjoy a feast at their famous buffet and try your luck at the casino!
Journey through Mississippi & Louisiana after breakfast. Enjoy an authentic Cajun lunch in Lafayette, LA. Travel through Texas to Sugarland where you will stay the night.
Bring the story of the Alamo to life with the Victory or Death Audio Tour; enjoy lunch at the historic Menger Hotel. You will love San Antonio! Visit San Antonio Shoe-Makers and the Mission San Jose. Wrap up the evening with dinner on the San Antonio River.
Visit the Old General Store in Luckenbach, TX, made famous by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. Also see the Wildflower Seed Store. Tour historic Fredericksburg and enjoy lunch in its quaint downtown area, Tour LBJ Ranch and Texas White House.
Arrive in Waco, TX. Here we will enjoy an HGTV kind of day. Visit Harp’s Design, JH Iron Designs (featured in the Fixer Upper shows), tour Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Market and Silos. Lunch at the Magnolia Market. Arrive in Fort Worth and meet your local guide for a walking tour of the Fort Worth Historic Stockyards and Cattle Drive. Fill up on BBQ at Cooper’s Old Time Texas Pit BBQ before walking over to the Cowtown Coliseum and enjoy the Fort Worth Championship Rodeo.
Depart for a guided driving tour of Fort Worth, Sundance Square, Cowboy Stadium, Rangers’ Ball Park, and head for “Big D”. Visit Sixth Floor Museum which chronicles the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Visit the Bush Library and Museum Arrive in Lindale, TX for your final night in Texas.
Depart for Mississippi and enjoy lunch at the Walnut Hill Restaurant. Tour of Vicksburg National Military Park. We will overnight in Ridgeland, MS for your last night of the tour.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before returning home to Georgia with lots of wonderful memories to share with your friends and family.
